My husband and I have very recently separated. our 19th anniversary is coming up,and I don't know if I should say or do anything. Could you please help me with this dilemma.

I don't believe this is a question of proper practical etiquette at all. Your response to your anniversary during this difficult time is completely up to you. The nature of the current climate of your separation will be your guide. Do not take an action because you feel you "should". Listen to your own intuition. You will be glad you did.

Thank you, for your advice! I know it to be true and have been given the same advice by friends and family. I guess I just needed to hear it from someone that is impartial, and didnt know if there was anyone out there that may have gone through something similar.
