Brunch for a Wedding Party

Is it proper to just invite the ladies of the Wedding Party or do you ask the whole Wedding Party? Some of the people are out of town. This is for our niece and we are also on somewhat of a budget?

Dear Betsy~

You may, of course, invite only those you wish to attend. However, it is more acceptable if there is a clear demarkation for those uninvited guests to notice, such as all one gender. So inviting only the women will make your intentions obvious, leaving those not invited with a logical explanation. I think an all female wedding brunch gathering is lovely.
