Do I still send gifts to his mother?

My gay friend and I are not really friends any more, I have always loved his mother and sent generous Christmas gifts to both of them. Do I not send her a gift this year?

If you still love his mother, send a gift. But do not send it simply because you always did. If not a gift, at least send a personal card this time. It will make both of you more comfortable. It is acceptable for you to continue your friendship with her as long as she will enjoy that too.
