Dear Bridal Shower Attendee,

It is within the bounds of practical etiquette to bring a gift for your friend and a card only for the guest of honor whom you do not know. However, a small, inexpensive gift for the unknown guest is always a nice gesture. This will also prevent the person hosting the party from feeling awkward about having to invite some who do not know both recipients. In the end, do what is comfortable for you under the circumstances.
