My ex's step father died. his granddaughter (my daughter) and I are going to the funeral. Is it proper to bring my feonsay that they have never met to the funeral?

I think it wouldn't be right. But would like to know your advise.

Funeral Attendance

Dear Alice,

Your instinct is correct. Do not bring your fiance to the funeral of a former father-in-law. The most important reason for a funeral service is to allow those close to the deceased the opportunity to give love and support to the grieving. Bringing a stranger is, therefore, in appropriate.
