Gift giving for son's girlfriend's daughter

My extended family gives Christmas gifts to my grandchildren but not my son's live-in girlfriend's daughter which creates an uncomfortable situation. Is it ok to remove the gifts from under the tree & give them to my grandchildren separately? It would be easier if they liked the little girl & her mother, but they don't. She/they haven't endeared themselves to the family. My son gets angry because he gets put in a difficult situation. It's a dilemma for all concerned.

Hello Mom~

Sometimes there is no way to smooth over discordant relationships within a blended family. I feel that anything you can do to alleviate the child’s discomfort is acceptable. However, the grownups should work it out for themselves. I am so sorry you have the occurring in your family.
