High School & College Graduation

by David Bruns
(Lima OH USA)

We have a child graduating from High School this year and a child graduating from College this year as well. The high school graduate has struggled throughout his school years, while the college graduate has excelled and is graduating one year early. We obviously want to recognize both of them for their accomplishments, however, we are unsure if we should have a combined party or separate parties. The college graduation is in April and the high school is in June. Please advise us as we are so torn apart on how we should proceed.
thank you

Graduation Celebrations
by: Ms P Etiquette

Dear David

If you can afford it, please have separate parties. Your younger son deserves the spotlight instead of standing in his brother's shadow. And your older son has certainly earned a celebration too!

I hope everyone has great fun!
