What family members should I (his maternal grandmother) send invitations to? Great Aunts?, my cousins (his 3rd/4th cousins? I talk to some of them occasionally and attend a few social events maybe once a year.

Hello Teresa,

High school graduation invitation etiquette varies according to the rules of the school. How many people is student allowed to invite? Is there a limit? Or is this more of an announcement that he is graduating?

If the event itself has limited seating, invite people the graduate would like to have present when he receives his diploma. Then send announcements to everyone else you have on your list. There is no hard and fast rule of etiquette governing this situation.
