Holiday guffaw

by kat
(Missouri)

My boyfriend offended my sister 3 months ago , that they have resolved . However her children are very angry with him. He has offered ammends to them , with no response. Which he accepts as he states he was in the wrong and that he will hope in time that it will clear and give them thier space . It is now Christmas and we share in gifts, do we include his name on the card with the gift and hope for the best or does this keep the rage perpetuated. They re in their late 20's

Gift Card
by: Ms P Etiquette

Hello Kat,

I apologize for not answering this question in time for the holiday giving. However, I hope you put your boyfriend's name on the gift cards. He has made his amends. It is poor manners for the offended ones to behave as if he had not offered his apologies. That is their position, not yours. I hope they come around. Some people just cannot let go of resentment. Very poor etiquette and quite immature to behave this way.
