It's the Holidays ...
by: Ms P Etiquette

Dear Poster,

It is not a matter of etiquette as to who calls who. It is family and the holidays are a wonderful time for families to renew their bonds and remember all the good times that make them a family. Calling up parents or children should not be viewed as an "obligation" of etiquitte, but rather something that they should want to do.

In the case if the parent is ailing and cannot call the child, the child should make the call. There is nothing like hearing from your child to brighten your day.

With what little time is left of these holidays, reach out to that someone special, bury old hatchets and remind yourself of those good times. This will be certain to set your New Year off to a great start.

Happy Holidays!!
