How to sign Christmas letter

by Gale
(Minnesota)

My son passed away unexpectedly in October. We are including his photo and that of his brother (living) as well as ourselves (his parents) in our annual Christmas card and letter. My question is how to sign the letter - we typically pre-print the 'signature' in a script font for the four of us (i.e. father, mother, son, and son2 'last name'). Is that ok? Or because son2 passed away, should we not include his name on the letter?

Christmas Card

Hello Gale,

I am so sorry for your great lose. However, it is not appropriate to include your deceased son in the photo or signature. It would be best to show the living members of your family wishing everyone a Happy Christmas.
