Masters Graduation Notice to all for Poor Future Teacher?

by Charlene
(Milwaukee, Wi)

My daughter is graduating with her masters in a month or so. We notified no one at all when she graduated college last year. Wanted to just send out a picture of her stating she got her masters and where she will be living to all now that she will be beginning her new life. If they chose to send a card or gift that is fine, but not required. We will not have a party it is out of state.

Don't want to appear to be asking for anything just so proud. Not sure she will be employed or not yet for next year..... I think any nice note someone would send would make her feel appreciated for all her hard work. She has been on deans list for entire masters.

Graduation Announcement
by: Ms P Etiquette

Dear Charlene,

I do not understand your question, if there is one. If you are asking me the propriety of sending a simple announcement to friends and family announcing your daughter’s completion of her Masters studies, the answer is yes, it is entirely appropriate. An announcement is not a solicitation of funds or gifts.

Be proud!
