Send graduation invitations to hostesses of a party?

My granddaughter is graduating from high school in two weeks. A group of eight ladies (friends of my daughter) honored her with an outside sit-down formal dinner last weekend and presented her with a basket of wonderful gifts for her college dorm.

The graduation invitations are being mailed out tomorrow. We are pondering if an invitation should be mailed to each of the eight ladies? We don't want them to feel obligated to send another gift but don't want to snub them either.

Yes, send each an invitation to the graduation. When your granddaughter sends her thank you notes, she can mention the invitations are coming. The connection between the two events should make it obvious that another gift is unnecessary.
