Sister relationship some jealousy

I will be 75yrs old next week. My sister is my only living relative, who lives 20miles from me. My sister feels that I do not need a special invitation to attend any function at her house; eg. holidays, I am just supposed to show up. She asked me why do I feel so special that I need an invitation.

Should I tell her I would like to come for my 75th birthday and ash her to invite me? Or just forget it? Every Sunday evening she has her kids, over for dinner. I am welcome to come also, just wondering about my birthday?

Dear Sister,

If you wish to celebrate your 75th birthday with your sister at her home, it is just fine for you to let her know how you feel. Since you seem to have an easy relationship, this should not be difficult.
