I do not really understand your question so I will reframe it. If you are asking if it is appropriate for your daughter to attend a birthday party to which she was invited and her ex boyfriend will be present, it is only good practical etiquette if there is no animosity between the two of them and the family is comfortable with her attending. It is not appropriate if her presence will upset anyone, therefore marring the child's party.
