Wedding Invite

I have been invited to the wedding of the neighbor across the street. We are casual friends...exercise, walk together. Her step daughter (who I have never meet) is getting married. I'm not planning on going because my husband will be out of town and I won't know anyone besides my neighbor at the wedding. What is the proper thing for me to do.....send a gift or not? Thanks...

Invitation & Gifts

Hello Invitation Recipient-

You are not obligated to give anything at all. If you do not know the bride or her family well, I suggest a good quality card offering them you good wished for a happy life.
