Accidentally shipped item I didn't order

by Colleen
(California )

I was accidentally shipped an item I didn't order from an out of state antique dealer I just recently shopped with. After unpacking my items I noticed the extra items. I emailed the dealer and she admitted that her husband packed the box and must have accidentally put the items in there. She then requested I ship the items back to her. I feel she should pay the shipping costs. What do you think?

Of course, I am not in the retail or shipping business, but it appears the mistake was the merchants and therefore, he should pay for the return. Have you asked him to pay for the shipping, reimburse you or the like? If you've shipped it already, it may be difficult to get satisfaction. If you have not shipped, send it COD.

Good luck.
