Is it ever proper to include a deceased man's memorial picture on a Christmas card?

Dear Ms m c,

It would depend upon the recipient of the card. If you are sending cards to family and friends whom you believe would like to see this photo, then include it. Do not , however, send it to anyone who was unfamiliar with the deceased during his lifetime.

I hope this helps.

I would be careful about enclosing the photo of a deceased person in a Christmas card. The sentiment in most cards is joyful and cheery. It would be somewhat creepy to read that after viewing a photo of a deceased person. I guess if someone requested the memorial it would be OK.
