Dinner party restaurant invite

by Nancy
(Hollywood,Fl. USA)

My Aunt and Uncle are hosting a dinner at a restaurant in honor of their granddaughter who was married within the last year.

She lives in another state and has not been back in our area for quite some time.

Do I have to bring a gift for this cousin who I haven't seen in several years?

Hello Nancy,

Bring a card with a personal note. There is no obligation to bring a gift and should be done only when it is heartfelt.
