my boyfriends ex of 5 months wants to send his parents thanksgiving cards.

My boyfriend and I are in college we are very serious though and his old high school ex of 5 months wants to send his parents and grandparents thanksgiving cards. she claims,"they did a lot for her". but he and his parents both admit she was a mere fling and that she met them 2 times maybe 3.I asked her to please not send them as I felt it was not appropriate for her to do so however she did anyways. I was just wondering what the best course of action is? i am sorry for asking this at a late hour but I can't sleep and I am worried.

Caitlyn,

I do not see how this became an issue about you. There is nothing inappropriate about one saying thank you, even if those receiving the kind wishes don't deserve or want them. Perhaps you will sleep better if you acknowledge the fact that you had no role in this at all. I know you will feel more relaxed about your relationship with your boyfriend if you don't interfer in any way. The only people directly involved are the parents, grandparents and in a peripheral way, the boyfriend. Take care.
