Mourning Period
by: Ms P Etiquette

The answer to your question is entirely up to you. There was a time when polite society expected a widow to be "in mourning" for a year, after which she was "free" to have her own full life. This does not apply today. One choose how and how long to display their grief. It is entirely your decision. You may wear your wedding ring for the rest of your life or take it off today. This is a profoundly personal choice.

I am sorry for your loss.
