My daughter is graduating from high school, and I want to send announcements out. Is proper etiquette to include a note about my daughter's plans for college with the announcement?

Congratulations on your daughter's graduation and upcoming college career!!

Yes, it is quite alright to include with the invitation a nice "handwritten" note about her plans. It would be poor etiquette to enclose a typewritten note. The handwritten note is personal and will be taken as such while the purpose of a computer generated note may be misunderstood.
