Hello,

May I ask, what purpose money would serve in this situation? If you are declining the invitation, send a card thanking them for being included and apologizing for your unavoidable absence. Having their daughter remembered certainly means a great deal to this family. Your thoughtful words to them are sufficient. I see no reason to send money.
