Ex is bringing her boyfriend to our daughters Holy Commmunion

What should i do here? She won't let me sit beside my 2 daughters and her at my youngest Holy Communion. I thought both parents should be sitting beside each other for this special occasion. It has nothen got to do with him and he shouldnt even be there. She also told me he might be sitting next to them when the time comes. Am I wrong for going mad at her over this? She tells me im over reacting and got mad with me over it.

Seating Arrangements
by: Ms P Etiquette

Mark,

Since this is your daughter's special day, I suggest you make plans for the two of you to do something very special to celebrate at a time after her communion service. Your actions will let her know you care about her.

The argument over seating has little to do with your daughter, but seems to be a continuation of your disagreements with your former wife. It is difficult enough for young children to experience divorce without having the arguments continue. Besides, it is rude to bring tension to an important event like this one. Sit any place that does not upset your former wife and be supportive of your daughter. This is one gift you can give your children, a stress free time when their parents aren't going at one another.
