Signing the Card
by: Ms P Etiquette

Dear Grandmother,

Please accept my condolences on this great loss of your son.

There is no right or wrong way to sign this card. Since I do not know the dynamic between you and your granddaughter or her relationship with your son before his death, it is difficult to help you. Just ask yourself how your card will be received and try to write the words you think she wants to read in connection with her father and his money. I think you already know what you want to say.

I wish you well.
