My son will be getting married (his 2nd) to someone (her 1st) She is from Canada (he from MN) They are getting married at the court house in Canada. Just 2 people standing up for them and then will have a small gathering at her parents home in Canada. Her parents will not be at the ceromeny.

They plan a honeymoon in a few months to Ireland.

As his mother ( I am divorced) how much do I give them for a cash wedding gift. They do not need anything for the home, as my son has it all now.

Dear Mother,

Gift value depends upon the relationship between the giver & the recipient first. Then consider the occasion or event, your budget, and lastly any other factors.

Therefore, the number of times your son has been married is the least of the criteria. Give from your heart and within your budget. That is your guide.
