It's right take my son to a vacation without his partner?

I want to take my daughter, 30 and my son,28 to a vacation because long time we dont do that and I finish my Divorce now, but I'd like to don't go with my son's partner. It's correct?

Dear Mom,

Speaking from the point of view of proper etiquette, you may ask whomever you wish to have join you on your vacation. Those whom you invite can either accept or not. If you feel excluding your son’s significant other will cause upset to him or others, then you should reconsider your intentions. It is never good manners to hurt the feelings of others.

Good luck.
