I have been seriously dating this man for 3 months, his grandmother just died last night. I have not met any of his family yet, what is appropriate for me to do. Is just sending a card? Food? Go to the wake?

Funerals are for the comfort of the living. If you feel your presence will be comforting to his family, then you may consider attending. However, consider this: Has your fellow asked you to attend? If not, then a card of sympathy to the family is most appropriate.
