Regarding rehearsal dinner & reception

My boyfriend's ex stepson is getting married & his name is on invitation as the father. He helped raise them & never adopted them. Since he is listed as the father on the invitation I'm assuming he would have to go to the rehearsal dinner. Would I be invited as well? Also for the introduction of the bridal party would my boyfriend & his ex wife be announced together or would I be introduced with him?

The guests at the rehearsal dinner and introductions at the reception can be a collaborative process. Ask your boyfriend to make inquiries about your attendance and to suggest how the introductions will be phrased. That is appropriate. It is also the practical way to deal with this situation.
