Wording of Invitation - Two Doctors

by Steve
(Philadelphia PA)

Looking for wording on a wedding invitation. While one of the bride's parents is an attorney (as are the bride and groom), both of the groom's parents have Ph.D. doctorates. How should the wedding invtiation read:

Mr. and Mrs. John Brideparents
and
Doctors Joseph and Mary Groomparents

Mr. and Mrs. John Brideparents
and
Doctor Joseph and Doctor Mary Groomparents

Mr. and Mrs. John Brideparents
and
The Doctors Joseph Groomparents

Please advise which is most acceptable.

Thank you.

Proper Titles

Steve,

The most acceptable is Doctors Joseph and Mary Groomparents. This is the clearest way to address a couple with similar titles.

Thank you for your question.
